March 9NEW Spring Striker School. There will be a six week Striker School with sessions for girls at 5-6PM, and boys 6-7PM, on six Friday evenings at the Oxbow starting April 16th. Cost for either clinic is $30 and enrollment is limited - enroll early for this popular clinic, for Western players up to U13s.
March 1Red Sox Ticket Raffle. Four tickets for a game Thursday April 22nd, sponsored by the U12 Girls team. For details, see the Fundraisers page or contact Mike Anastasovites, U12 Girls

Jan 28 There are three current team fundraisers.
The U11 Boys are organizing a Bus Trip to Mohegan Sun on Saturday Feb 20th, cost is $40 including a $15 buffett voucher. The bus will leave from the parking lot of the Plantation Inn near I90/I291 in Springfield at 4PM, and returns at 11:30 PM. Contact Dawna Rouette (U11 Boys) for details.
The U16 boys are accepting orders for Western United T-Shirts, Sweatshirts & Pants, Golf Shirts, Hats, and stickers, orders should be submtted by February 14th.
The U13 Boys have Western monogramed scarves available for $20 apiece, please contact Leah Gay (u13 boys) to order. A sample scarf can be seen at Allsport in Northampton.
Finally, the Haiti earthquake victim's fundraiser organized by Western Coach Jim Mercer and the Chicopee Comprehensive High School Swim Team which he also coaches raised over $7000. See "News" for more details.
Jan 21 There are two new winter training clinics for boys. The Western United Technique Clinic for U13-U16 BOYS ( FULL ) , Mondays 7-8PM at Allsport in Northampton Feb 1 through March 15.
The Western United Striker School for U10-U12 BOYS ( FULL ) , Fridays 7-8PM at Trinity Church in Springfield starting January 29th. Cost for either clinic is $25 and enrollment is limited

Jan 7 By popular demand, the Striker School for girls has been split into two sections. U13s and older will play Sundays 7-8PM at Attain Sports Performance in East Longmeadow, while the U10s to U12s will play 6 Fridays 6-7PM beginning Jan 15th at Trinity Church in Springfield.
Jan 2 Western alum Alex Dos Santos , at WNEC, made the 2nd Team NSCAA All American team
Jan 2 Western alum Meg Murphy, a senior at Amherst College, made the NCAA Division III all-new england 1st team and NCSAA 3rd Team All American.
Dec 29 Mike Fisher of the U18 boys Western team was named a 2009 HS NSCAA Scholar All American
