Here it is, back again for a fourth year in a row! The spring friendly series put on by Western United in the Springfield and Westfield, MA area. Dates for this years series is the weekend of March 21-22, 2009. This is a series of friendly games hosted by Western United to help to prepare teams for the upcoming season without having the pressures of trying to move on in tournament play and without the expense. Teams can choose to play either 2 games or 4 games on this weekend. The low cost for each team is: 2 games, $200 / 4 games, $350! What a tremendous bargain!! Best of all should the weather turn against us teams are reimbursed 80% of the fees, far superior to any tournament. This makes the risk for the teams very minimum from a financial perspective. Spots are on a first come, first serve basis as there are limited slots available. So get your team signed up quickly. A simple email to me will hold your spot until your check arrives in the mail. All checks are due to me no later than March 1. Any teams that do not have fees in by then will have to be dropped and the next team on the waiting list will be added. We have had an extensive waiting list the past few seasons as the word has spread like wildfire about our friendly weekend, so please don’t let your chance to get on the field to prepare for your season pass you by.
