Columbus Day 2009 - Nashua (NH) World Cup Tournament

Five game sweep, 34 goals for, 3 against

The Western United U-12 Red team participated in the Nashua (NH) World Cup Columbus Day Tournament.  Western defeated all three opponents in the round robin play of the U12 8v8 Division with a combined score of 21 goals for and only 3 against.  Each team was from New Hampshire including Seacoast United, Manchester SC, and the Lightning. In the semi-finals, Western defeated South County SC (RI) by the score of 9-0 and then went on defeat the Express Devanny (NH) 4-0 to be crowned champions. Each victory was truly a team effort with significant contributions from each player.
