The Western United U-10 Boys brought a split squad, (Western Red and Western White) to the 2009 Winter Classic Cup at FSA. The Red team ended with a record of 2-1-1 in the American Division and the White team ended with a record of 3-1-0 in the National Division. Western United was the only Club to bring a split squad and have both teams end with positive results showing the overall strength of all 24 players on the team.
The U10 Boys split into 2 teams of 12 (white team and red team) for the Nashua World Cup Tournament on Columbus Day Weekend. Each team played 3 games in their own bracket and after first-round play, both teams made the semi-finals, won those games and played each other in the finals!!! (see brackets below) Both teams went undefeated for the weekend and brought back 1st and 2nd place trophies!
(Sept. 2) The Under-10 Boys team split into two squads for tournament play this past weekend. Both squads went a combined 7 – 0 – 1 with 62 goals for and 7 against. The team will next be participating in the Nashua New Hampshire Cup later in the Fall.
